is an agricultural engineer and a trade unionist at the Tunisian General Labor Union, run as independent
candidate for May 2018 municipal elections in Kelibia district.

Tunisian Women Voters helped me impose my myself and succeed in my first political experience ...” This
is how Wafa Al-Inglis started talking about her experience with the League in learning and training and
overcoming obstacles as a candidate for the 2018 municipal elections and the victory of her list. Wafa
says: “The League Of Tunisian Women Voters helped me with trainings and follow-up in the various
stages of the elections, and thanks to it I gained many skills. Today I practice municipal work with
confidence and knowledge of the overall challenges that lie ahead ...”

The League continued to sup-port us by following up our work and assist us each time we need
clarification regarding the laws of the Local collectivity Magazine, especially after signing the agreement
with the Kelibia municipality on participative governance of municipal work, it involved municipal
members as well as municipal cadres.
